Sailing trials to date
We are grateful to the following clubs for having allowed us to sail on their waters and/or join in various races and regattas since our testing programme started in early 2009:
The two highlights of our 2010 testing programme were:
The 3 Rivers Race run by Horning SC
A really enjoyable and well organized race around the Norfolk Broads of approx 45 – 55 miles in length, on the Rivers Bure, Thurne and Ant involving narrow rivers, open broads and requiring passage under four bridges, for which masts need to be lowered.
It took us ten and a half hours to cover the course, and we finished 5th overall, out of 174 starters.

Salcombe YC Regatta
Brilliant sailing for a wide variety of craft in one of the most beautiful tidal estuaries in the UK, impeccably organized by a very friendly club.
Our schedule only allowed us four days sailing, during which we had varying winds and courses, including one day being sent out to sea via Prawle Point and then Bolt Head.
With an ability to point high and a powerful rig, we found more tactical options were open to us, on occasions being able to head out into the stronger tide and wind than other boats - see photo on the left.
